{"id":1580,"date":"2022-12-01T11:28:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-01T10:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rommelkist.nl\/elec\/?p=1580"},"modified":"2026-06-08T17:34:16","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T15:34:16","slug":"macro-cage-mini-studio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rommelkist.nl\/elec\/elektronica\/macro-cage-mini-studio\/","title":{"rendered":"Stacker &#8211; deel 4 &#8211; Macro cage &#8211; mini studio"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tijdens de voorbereidingen van het <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rommelkist.nl\/elec\/fotografie\/nabouw-van-een-stackshot\/\">Stacker-project<\/a> liep ik tegen de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allanwallsphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/2\/12\/the-light-cage-has-landed\">macro-light-cage<\/a> van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allanwallsphotography.com\/\">Allan Walls<\/a> aan. Een mooi na te bouwen project in het verlengde van de Stacker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eigenlijk is het een kubusvormige ministudio waar de camera een vaste plaats heeft op de macrorail, waarbinnen het licht volledig onder controle is, met reflectoren, diffusers en achtergronden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De ribben van de kubus zijn 400 mm lang en gemaakt van 12&#215;12 minibalkjes. De koppelstukjes zijn zelfontworpen en geprint. In het oorspronkelijke ontwerp is gebruikgemaakt van kunststof buizen, een soort elektriciteitspijpen, die ik hier niet kon vinden. Elektriciteitspijp zou een prima alternatief geweest zijn, maar daarvoor zijn geen koppelstukken te vinden die haaks op elkaar staan. Een ander idee van Allen is om in plaats van papieren, kartonnen, of stoffen achtergronden een digitaal fotolijstje te gebruiken. Met een tekenprogramma (in mijn geval GIMP) maak je oneindig veel achtergronden in de gewenste kleur(en) met of zonder verloop. Ik had ooit zo&#8217;n fotolijstje  gekregen, de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Kodak-EasyShare-SV-710-Digital-Picture\/dp\/B000MURAT2?th=1\">Kodak SV710<\/a>, die ik hiervoor prima kon inzetten. Oorspronkelijk was er ook een afstandsbediening, maar die is niet meer beschikbaar. Dus heb ik een IR-led op de Stacker-Arduino aangesloten en het programma uitgebreid met een afstandsbedieningsfunctie. <br>Om te achterhalen welk protocol en welke codes ik hiervoor nodig had heb ik gebruik gemaakt van mijn <a href=\"https:\/\/support.myharmony.com\/nl-nl\/650\">Logitech Harmony 650<\/a> universele afstandsbediening. De Kodak-fotolijst aangemaakt als te bedienen apparaat. Het bleek om het NEC-protocol te gaan: de codes voor &#8220;volgende en vorige foto&#8221; waren te achterhalen met een tijdelijke Arduino-testopstelling met een TSOP-IR receiver. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verlichting is van belang. Als ik het goed begrepen heb moet je voorkomen dat er (teveel) schaduwen zijn. De stackingsofware heeft daar moeite mee. En dat is ook wel te begrijpen. Dus veel licht tegen diepe schaduwen, maar tegelijkertijd voorkomen dat het specimen overbelicht raakt. Er moeten twee 1,5V batterijen in en dat lijkt me niet zo handig. Maar 5V voedinkjes heb ik genoeg en met een AMS1117-module ertussen wordt van de 5V een keurige 3V voor de ledjes gemaakt. Veel handiger voor in de &#8220;studio&#8221;. De lampjes zijn onderling koppelbaar, maar daar zie ik, in mijn toepassing, het nut niet van in.
